For eight years I wrote a blog which I’ve recently retired. Over 100 pieces on that blog went viral (which I count as 20,000 shares or more). Here are a few of them:

Below’s a sampling of the short stories I published in the early 90’s. (The first, “Billy’s New Life,” was chosen as the front piece for the Spring 1992 edition of Central Park, the New York literary journal then co-edited by Eve Ensler and Stephen Paul-Martin, whose short story collection, “The Gothic Twilight,” was nominated for the National Critics Circle Fiction Award in 1993.)
Here are some of the pieces I wrote when I was living in San Diego and freelancing, or editing, for San Diego Magazine, The San Diego Union-Tribune, The San Diego Reader, The San Diego Weekly, San Diego Jazz & Blues, Mean Street and others.
